 Alert | Not quite sure how to handle this. When did organized sports get approval to commandeer both sides of the North Santa Cruz wash? There are multiple cars parking all over the grass which I am assuming is yet again ruining the sprinkler heads we must pay for. You want organized sports go to another community or Pacana Park. And also pay attention to your children when people drive through because most people think they need to go 40 on RED Parkway. | |

Alert | I know that lately there are a lot of organized sports happening there but from everything I have heard places for them to practice are at a premimum these days. A few communities have even gone so far as to ban them from playing in their area such as cobblestone. So unless the HOA bans them or the city builds more parks, they are allowed to play there. Personnally, once my kids get old enough for organized sports, it would be nice if their practices were right there since it's just around the corner from the house. | | | |

Alert | If you read my original post it wasn't about the "kids" practicing because by god anyone that has a child is "so extra special on this earth and should have all rights granted by law and God". It was about all of the cars parked along side the road.
Come to find out that we as RED residents are responsible for maintaining that area. I'm not as worried about the kids Tim_T (even though as a parent you sure as he** should be); but about the destruction of property that the RED residents have to pay for.
And on a final note all of our children are not as innocent as everything thinks. Come on people; stop living in your dream world and start to step up to reality.

You know, those people that play sports out there. I bet they take out MORE trash then they bring in. I have never seen it dirty, with trash, sports bottles, or anything after they have left.
Did you know your local fire dept also uses that to play and have fun?

It has come to my attention that it appears this matter has already been brought up to the HOA who has already consulted with a lawyer to determine the legal ramifications of injuries on the wash property as well as parking. So, it wasn't even me first. | |
