The field trips were completely up the the teachers. I personally planned for my grade level to attend a field trip to compliment the curriculum.

Kindergarten and Ms. G's class are all going on a field trip in June.

Thanks!

Riki, she just said in the previous post that Kindergarteners and Mrs. G's class are going on a field trip in June. I'm assuming that means all Kinders are included. You'll probably be getting info about it soon.

just my .02 but in Calif it was hard for Kinder's to go on fieldtrips due to the adult ratio needed to "keep them in line" dont know if this is the case or issue here

Ok I will go back to "reading" in this topic...

Not the case here in Arizona - I have taught kinder for the past 8 years and every year our students went on a field trip. We have been to Schnepf Farm, The Phoenix Zoo, The Children's Theater, The Stuffington Bear Factory, and the Science Center. The adult to child ratio is usually about 7 to 1. Usually in kindergarten you have too many parents who want to volunteer - I do not think chaparones are the problem here. Chances are if they have not reserved space at a location yet, they will not get in before the end of the school year.

Since Legacy gets out later than other schools I'm sure they'll get in somewhere. They probably already have a place reserved. Riki, you'll have to let us know how it goes with all those Kinder's! Five classes of them! Oh my, they'll need lots of helpers!
