I think the one here in the COPA is CAC or Central Arizona College...

MCC is in Mesa on US 60 and Dobson. I have been to three of the Maricopa Community College and have been been a tutor (math and science) for them.

I say go for it

Maricopa Community College is in Maricopa County, not the city of Maricopa. What you are thinking of is Central Arizona College or CAC. Big difference because with the Maricopa schools you will have to pay out of county tuition...

bstoneaz...that is incorrect. I pulled this from maricopa.edu...

Students from the following counties are considered out-of-county and should check with their local County Board of Supervisors about out-of-county tuition and fee payments:

* Apache
* Greenlee
* Santa Cruz

Students from any other county in Arizona are considered in-county due to a reciprocal arrangement with that county.

My husband attends MCC and we don't pay out-of-county tuition.
