 Alert | Hi all parents: I know some of you may not get the newsletters that went home on Tuesday, so I wanted to post some things that I want you all to know about.
**We have started a canned food drive to benefit Maricopa Food Bank. All food stays local for our families in need in Maricopa. Donations go to 1st period.
**The week we come back is Homecoming Spirit Week. At the middle school we are having varios days.
MONDAY-Jersey Day
TUESDAY-PJ Day..keep our modesty part of the dress code in mind please! :0)
WEDNESDAY-Crazy Hair Day
THURSDAY-Superhero Day
FRIDAY-Silver, Black and White Day (Panther Spirit Day)
**Boy's soccer, girl's basketball, and wrestling had a meeting on Wednesday to get and give information to students who are interested in playing sports. Practice for soccer and basketball start on Oct. 15th...MUST have physical and insurance on file to begin try-outs and practice. Wrestling practice starts on Oct. 29th, same with physical and insurance.
**MASQUERADE DANCE!!! Friday October 26th, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 in our gym. This is a costume dance, but please no costumes during regular school hours. Modesty dress code still applies and we must be able to see a child's face to match up with their ID's.

I had some questions from parents about wrestling...first practice is Oct. 29th
and football players can of course try-out for soccer and wrestling. They will miss the first two days of try-outs for soccer, but I added in 2 extra days so those kids are out there enough before cuts.
Anything else, please let me know!
