Alert | | I know we could use the help. Everything is hitting at once. Does anyone know if there is any places that help out getting the kids supplies/ uniforms?

Alert | | We have been working with our teen focus group and the Parks and Recreation Department will unveil a "Fill the Trailer" advertising campaign next week. In a nut shell, we're going to park one of our covered trailers in the parking lot at Fry's on Saturday, August 4 during the morning hours and people can donate school supplies in one location. Once we get the supplies donated and then sorted, we'll reach out and try to help those in need. These supplies will be for families who are homeschooled, attend Legacy, MUSD schools, Horizon...wherever. We want to help those in need.

Alert | | I want to thank all of the great people that offered me suggestions and items. We are doing better and I should have a pay check before school starts to get the kids the stuff they need. Thanks again

Alert | | don't know if it still applies, but the school used to collect outgrown uniforms so they could be redistributed. Does anyone know if this still applies? | | A leader leads by example, whether he intends to or not. ~Author Unknown

Alert | Yes! The local schools still collect used uniforms to redistribute to those in need. We donated some just before school let out.
