Question 1 - Did the superintendent grant permission for the recall members to be on school property soliciting their political cause?

PUBLIC SOLICITATIONS IN SCHOOLS
A school employee's position in the District shall not be used to influence parents or students to purchase books or other merchandise, except for materials approved by the Superintendent for use in the classroom.
Solicitation of employees and/or students by any profit, nonprofit, or charitable groups, institutions, or organizations must have the approval of the Superintendent in advance.
The District shall strive to safeguard the students and their parents from money-raising plans of outside organizations, commercial enterprises, and individuals. This policy shall apply particularly to ticket sales and sales of articles or services except those directly sponsored by school authorities or school organizations.

Commercial advertising shall be prohibited in District schools
Political/Sectarian Groups:
School facilities shall not be used to advertise, sell tickets, or collect funds for any organization or program defined as political or sectarian in nature without prior approval by the Superintendent or designee.

Since Jake Romero, head of the White lynchmob, is a district vendor, (he has permission by Flores to sell teachers investments), is he considered a school employee? Are there any other investment companies allowed to sell on campus teacher's lounges? Do you know who I can ask and get a valid answer on this?

Alert | | Was school in session at the time? You know that MUSD properly allows use of its' building by sectarian groups during the "off hours". Scouting, church groups and other such organizations are allowed use on a non~interference basis. | | | |

Alert | | Chuck, yes it was after hours and the policy does state that a political org cannot use the facilities unless approved by the superintendent.But what is wrong with that picture ? Tim White is the board member who questions the ethics of Flores and his cronies. So how can Flores be the one who approves the White recall team? And that is after Flores approves position and salary increases for the wives of both recall team members....I just don't get it... | | | |

So I find out, the only approved vendor for financial investments for the district is Pro-Financial; Jake Romero works for Edward Jones and is not board approved but is still allowed to sell on campus. | | | |

Alert | | I still gotta say you're quibling over way too much. While it sounds like all anyone wants to do is shout: "off with their heads" why not just be a little more sensible. The AZSBA web site is a good source for info but it isn't the be all/end all; it's an informational web site. In my years with various school districts {some far better established than MUSD} it isn't unusual for petition circulators to show up, or bible salesmen or other panhandlers at school functions {football games}. Yeah, it's wrong and in very poor taste but do heads REALLY need to roll each time another panty twist occurs? | | | |

Alert | While I'll agree to a point it is a relevant issue since it would require the ok of the superintendent for the recall team to be on the property first place. It therefore rises above the bible salesmen analogy.
Since the superintendent or someone on his staff Ok’d the visit it shows a complete disregard for the voting public. It also shows a complete lack of professionalism from the board and super. Isn't this one of the very reasons for the recall?

Im really confused why anyone would want someone on the school board who has knowingly harbored a pedophile in his own home. Even prisoners in the state penitentiary would have more common sense then what this guy has demonstrated. As for those pushing your political agendas with our childrens future at stake all I can say is I find your actions repulsive.

I don't get how someone could question the education level of one person, while continuing to say such ignorant things. What good is your education doing you?
1) You don't have to have a diploma to have common sense. White isn't trying to take up rocket science. He has asked legitimate questions that the other four "educated" people seated at the table with him should be asking.
2) Pay attention....this is the last time this should have to be pointed out. I believe that the public has a right to vote and has a right to question someone in charge of any office. I don't hear all the screaming about all the changes in city hall or the fire department!
As for the pedophile thing...nope, the person was not after kids, just women. HUMMMM, school close by, many women alone in rooms by them self when the campus isn't covered by security. Sorry, the person, what ever his perversion, should NOT have been there. | |
