Come on, do the kids really have to stand in the scorching heat for 40 minutes waiting for the BUS???

What happened with this? This is terrible, my daughter came home feeling terrible and very upset. Her face was bright red and she was dehydrated. And no explanation was even offered.

PLEASE stay on schedule!!! Anyone else have this problem??

Same thing with both my daughters, one goes to the middle school. They let the kids into the gym.

My daughter who attends the high school was also out in the heat. This is absolutely unexceptable! We had a heat advisory today and these kids were left out in the sun with NO water. My oldest came home looking awful, she said her and her friend tried going into the band room because the door was open too cool off,the band teacher asked them to get out!<img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/mad.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Mad' align='absmiddle'> When I tried calling the high school for an explanation as to why they were made to wait in the heat no one answered the phones of course.
What a great first day of High school for her!

I'll be stopping in in the morning to let them know what I think of the way these kids were treated.

I would have, but I didn't know there was a problem, and she kept thinking it would be there any minute.

so sorry to hear about your daughter! I have a feeling, that since the 3 levels of schools are sharing one set of buses, this won't be the only time the older kids are late. i do hope they square it away soon!

If you can't spot the loser, it might be you

My middle school son had the same problem. After over 45 minutes and no one letting them inside my son and a few other kids started to walk. We live in RED. Needless to say I was very upset over this. He got as far as the DQ and couldn't go any further. They REALLY have to do something about the bus issue FAST.
