 Alert | On Monday 7/30, my daughter was chased and harassed by two construction workers. This took place in the subdivision just West of Maricopa Elementary. She was walking home from Maricopa Wells Middle School. The workers were Hispanic and did not speak much english, but they spoke enough for my daughter to get the point of the things that were being said. She is 12 and this in itself was inexcusable. She continued away when the two workers began approaching her. She began to run. She made it about a block away when she saw them in a red Ford truck, following behind her. She ran thru a wash area and back out to the main road. They continued around and followed her all the way to the Elementary. At this point, she had called me and 911. She was so frightened that she ran out of her shoes. The police found one shoe in the wash area and I found one a block away. I do not know what these peoples intentions were, but no matter what they were, it was extremely tramatic for her and for us. The police are now investigating and trying to find the people responsible. I thought I would post this for any other parents or concerned citizens out there. Please watch out for your kids and any others. Thank you.

Alert | It should be easy for the ploice to find them. They have to go back to work very soon. I know they could be down with the work yet.

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

Alert | THis is a serious thread and we should all be on the lookout for this type of thing. No wonder we are so afraid to send our kids out to play during the day as we did when we were kids.
Along the lines of protecting our children, osgoodsnog the hairy back will scare most children into thinking a werewold lives among us. Cover up please.

It was pretty disturbing, wasn't it! My Bad. It was a 63 year old body builder I had found on some website... I just laughed so hard when I posted it up though!!! I guess I was trying to be as disturbing as another person on here that has the cat attacking a child. I'll behave better. Especially on serious post's like this.
While we are at it. To all who are moving here, check out this site and plug in our zip. It's good to keep an eye out for these creeps and a good teaching tool to let our children know that:
1. These are only the one's that were caught. There are more out there.
2. Not all bad people look "bad" My kids had an image "bad" people from movies and cartoons.
It is important to open up about these subjects as people from all over come to move to our rapidly growing town.
This stuff completely creeps me out, but it's an important subject to talk to our kids about.
