On Oct. 13th I have organized another Locks of Love event. It will take place at Marilen's Imports. I am now filling up time slots for this evnet. We will start at 12:00 pm and every 45 minutes after that.

All donors will get thier hair cut by the Local and Fabulous KARLA and GREG from Studio Charme. They will also be giving mini makeovers for the people who have their Locks cut on that day for Locks of Love.

Please leave me a message on here with your contact information so i can schedule your cut and makeover.

How long does your hair have to be? How much do they need to take off?

This really is a good program. I donate my hair every year and a half to Locks of Love and will continue to do so. I just donated it last month, but please have another one of these next year and I promise I will be there.

I will have it every year. It's a great cause.
Last year's was so great. We had a lil girl just walk in off the street and do it. We were all touched by her.

I'm in! I did this last year ('06) on my birthday and it was very emotional, I lost a friend to ovarian cancer a few years ago and she wore wigs when she was initially diagnosed with uterine cancer 15 years before that! She had a terrible time, but a FABULOUS attitude that made all the difference!

She did all the chemo and other meds the first go round, but eventually had a partial hystorectomy! Then, 15 years later she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and chose to fight with "alternative" methods.

I was going to try to grow my hair for a bout a year and always donate on my birthday, but since moving here, I didn't know where to go this past year. The cool thing about the event being held here on 10/13, is that it's only 2 weeks before the day my friend passed away 10/27 '05! Much more meaningful time for me to donate!

Due to a scheduling conflict Karla and Greg of Studio Charme have canceled this weekend's Locks of Love event.

Studio Charme is proud to support Locks of Love and if you were one of those who had signed up, please contact Karla or Greg at (520) 483-2588 to reschedule.

Thank you.
