Seems I recall that 6-9 months ago there was discussion on astronomy interests, but, since the old boards are gone, I don't know what, if anything, came of it. Any ideas?

I was a member of EVAC, East Valley Astronomy Club but since moving to Maricopa I would love to see an Astronomy club started here. I have been at it a long time!

There was a guy that was the one with the know. I missed the first and I think only gathering. Maybe someone else could facilitate?

I would love to see an Astronomy group here in Maricopa, especially since we have such wonderful stars out at night, I would love to know what I am looking at at night.

I miss seeing Saturn through the backyard scope. That is an unreal experience. Let's get a club going.

Where could we find a good location locally for monthly meetings? Hopefully we could garner enough interest to make this happen. I would be willing to head this up, I've belonged to several clubs over the years.

I had been the one trying to put that together before, and didn't get much of a turn out for the first meeting. I'm definately interested in meeting up with others that are interested though.

So what is the big, round, bright object shining in the eastern sky?
