The City of Maricopa will now have dog licensing right here in our own community! No more driving to Casa Grande, or mailing in everything & waiting weeks....or more for your tags. Starting 7/11, licensing will be every Wednesday from 11-1pm at City Hall. Proof of rabies vacc. must be shown.

Good to know. Thanks.

That'd be really convenient for people who work in Maricopa or stay home.

I guess taking a really long lunch break to drive home and back to work is better than having to wait weeks for the mail in process or going to Casa Grande . At least we're starting to get some services like that here.

This is so awesome!!!

On another good note, Pinal is getting faster. I sent Java's tag renewal in on the 25th and it came sometime last week.

It's a start, that's all I can say. I appreciate any service we can get at this point.

Pay a Professional Pet Sitter to take the dog in for you......when they're not really busy & up to their ears in walks & visits that is!

City Hall is on Garvey.
You can either take Hathaway (the street the PO is on) to the end & go left - you can't miss it. Or you can go right on Garvey(next to Shell) from 347 and take a right into their parking lot.

An altered dog license is $12 / Unaltered $20

Kimberly or anyone who knows,

I moved from Maricopa County and canceled the license over there for my pup, How do I register over in pinal county through the mail? I would rather do it through the mail, since I cant get there on Wednesdays.

Thanks!

From the Pinal County Animal Control Website:

<div class='NTForums_Quote'>Q: How do I get a license?
You must have a copy of a current rabies vaccination certificate from a licensed veterinarian that is good for at least one year. You can come to the administrative office/shelter at 764 S. Eleven Mile Corner Road and buy your license there. Or you can mail the vaccination certificate to the office along with the license fee and the license will be mailed to you within 2-3 weeks.

P.O. Box 3061RS
Casa Grande, AZ 85222

If renewing, you can do it online:

I was thinking about getting the rabies vacc. when I typed - pay a pet sitter to do it. I've taken many dogs to the vet or groomer for my customers. For many, it's just more convenient to have someone else do it.

Sometimes a dog will behave better when someone other than Mom takes them in to the vet.

It would be REALLY nice to have Sat. hours once a month for licensing and such. Am I dreaming?
