Alert | i just went round and round with GMSS. the prices listed on their site is for LAST year, and they have increased their price. They are not honoring the old price either, even though they are still advertising it. | | If you can't spot the loser, it might be you

Alert | | Last year they were in a dinky suite that was not very visual. You have to check out their new school, which is very professional looking. I like the way the changing rooms look and the snack bar of course.

Alert | | I am taking my kids to awahtukee Pecos Pool. $12 per session. A session is 2 weeks and you get 8 30 minute classes. Last year they went there at ages 2 and 3 and learned to swim but the very basics so we are going back so they can get better. It is a 30 min drive but my kids love it there.

Alert | The rate is $12 per class. So if you have 8 classes that math is $96. 8 classes in Maricopa is $70.

Plus, why would you support another city instead of the one you live in? Just curious.

Alert | Gold Medal's program in Maricopa is $75 for 8- 30 minutes sessions.
But Gold Medal is in Chandler, so even if they hold the classes here, it really isn't supporting anything locally. If GM is paying Ak-Chin to use their facilities, that really isn't benefiting the City of Maricopa.

Alert | | But they did hire Maricopa residents to run and give the lessons so the money does make it's way back here.

Alert | | The rate for Pecos Pool is $12 per session, not per class. 8 classes in a session. $12 total. Plus gas. My kids love it there also.

Alert | | When you add the gas to a 45-50 mile round trip you break even - except for the time and headache driving up to Ahwatukee and back.

Alert | I take my kids to Pecos Pool cause its cheap and very very good. The drive is not bad for us and we do errands and other stuff while we are out. We get alot of lessons for the price so its more than worth it for me! I was amazed last year how much my kids learned!

Alert | Does anyone know any reputable swim instructors who will come to your house to give swim lessons? I have a 5 year old and my husband thinks it would be better for her to be taught at home rather than in a class where she might be overlooked.
