Alert | While I have no ethical objections to Hooter's, I do wish it was something else.
We have so much of what I like to refer to as Bar Food here. I would like a good place to go sit down, have a nice dinner for a reasonable (not necessarily cheap) price. And FYI, if you are thinking of suggesting it, I have been to Agave's at the casino many times, and it is Mediocre at best.
We already have plenty of bar food though. Native New Yorker, Ramseys, among others. I would die for an applebee's, TGI Fridays, Texas Roadhouse, Chile's, Red Lobster, Outback, or Olive Garden, sure they have bars, but they are restaraunts first and bars second.
I am sure they will come eventually, in fact I heard a rumor that we may be getting a Ruby Tuesday, although I have never eaten there.
I am all for Hooter's otherwise. Its a free country, if you don't want your kiddies to see girls in tight t-shirts and shorts, don't take them there. If you think that the women are "exploited", nobody is forcing them to choose that profession.
