Alert | | Phase 3, closing in mid-september. Sounds like we might be neighbors. I would post our street on here, but there seems to be a lot of hatred for me being that I am a Reagan Fan. | | Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.

Alert | | Anyone who's a Reagan fan is good in my book. Haha, what are you worried about, I have yet to meet a liberal who is also a member of the NRA | | All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. --Edmund Burke

Alert | I am not worried about a liberal being a member of the IRA. Once they started firing, as soon as I could stop laughing, they would get it right back. Liberals would be more likely to throw a rock through a window and run into the darkness.

Alert | | If anyone was wondering the inspections will be over by the end of next week and then they start construction again...... | | All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. --Edmund Burke

Alert | | I'm over on the DR Horton side and I just talked to them on Monday. Due to my section being closed down for almost 2 weeks, my close date has been pushed back to Sep. 12. They also told me that they had an inspection of the roads by the city on the 2nd and while the city cleared them of all the previous issues, they found 17 new violations that they need to fix. However, rather than stop construction anymore they are going to continue building while fixing the new violations. I guess we shall see how things progress. | | "Knowledge is often mistaken for intelligence. This is like mistaking a cup of milk for a cow." -- Unknown

Alert | I must say its crazy they made them shut down to re-do the curbs. Don't they know there is a good chance this will happen again before we all close?
Anyways, I can't wait for them to re-start. Our homes are just sitting out there, and I want to move! | | Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.

Alert | | You are dead on. The government probably thinks they are helping all of us out by making sure our curbs are not cracked, but little do they know they are affecting peoples lives. Government can never think things all the way through and find the other side of the story and weigh both sides. Pulte says we will only be pushed back by a week. I hope that happens, but foresee a much longer delay. I just want to move in already. Alert | | I hope you don't get delayed too bad. My DR Horton home got delayed by 3 weeks by the road issues. However, I don't think the government really cares too much about us having "nice" sidewalks. I think they are just making sure they don't get stuck with the bill to repair a sidewalk a year from now when the builder is long gone. | | "Knowledge is often mistaken for intelligence. Alert | | Speaking of nice sidewalks, am I the only one who finds it strange that there are sidewalks on only one side of the street? Other than the obvious "cost savings" does anyone have an idea why Senita is like this?

Alert | I have seen a lot of neighborhoods like that. I think the idea is trying to get people to park on one side, then have sidewalks on the other. I could be way off, but that is how I always looked at it.
