thanks for the education jason, anyways

When I had qwest Choice TV and online they promised up to 3 meg at its highest and I never EVER got more then 1.5 and it was an issue with everyone in the neighborhood that has the same service.

AND yes I have tested between 4 and 10PM and still have minimal connection issues.

Dipping down to 2.8 is not "next to no problems"...

Dude its cable service, most t1 servers will only server up to 1.5 2.8 is STILL good enough for web usage as well as VoiP service. Do you ever stop trying to argue about this? I am happy with that speed for the twenty minutes I see it. Sheesh.

If you're happy with it fine, but don't build up a straw man. In my own case I can easily saturate a 7 Mbps connection with a couple of downloads. But don't try to make it sound like because you're happy, everyone else must be happy and that I'm just trying argue. Because in the end, we uncovered that your cable service really is no better than Orbitel, which is to say: unreliable.

We don't use it because we already pay money to the HOA for Orbitel whether we use them or not. Plus Qwest was way more expensive.

Maybe it goes back to the statement you get what you pay for.<img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/biggrin.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Big Grin' align='absmiddle'><img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/wink.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Wink' align='absmiddle'>

I'm curious then why you were claiming that the VDSL service was cable. Wouldn't you have known that Qwest does not do cable?

Can't you figure it out Jason, He only worked in the sales area not an outside technician. They are the ones that can give the true scoop on Qwest. Trust me on this one....I know many of them.
