Glenwildegroves is approx. 46 a month (incl basic cable and common area maintenance) and we have two pools to use. also, within walking distance of Pacana park.

I thought Senita was supposed to pay for the bridge since it is between their two developments.

I think it should be a toll bridge.

Can we get a drawbridge while there at it? That would be fun.

That should be interesting to see what happens to Glennwilde's HOA fee's since numerous builders are backing out and another builder is hardly selling anything. The home owners who are there now might have to shell out some additional cash per month to sustain all of those beautiful pools and common areas and cable contract that has to be paid by all households even if the household is empty! Those $46/mo HOA fee's are based off of having a fully occupied community and obviously that's not going to be the case for some time to come.

Senita is not and was not responsible for the building of the bridge.  Senita was responsible for improving the roads on the south and north side of their community.  The bridge was not in their contract.

My home is in Glennwilde and I thought the HOA fees are $62.00 per month.

As for the upkeep/builders selling etc, Correct me if I am wrong. The owner of the properties, weather completed and sold to home owners or still in the hands of the builder/developer, the property owners are required to pay the HOA.

I don't know anything about Tortosa but I can't seem to figure out why the fees are so high.

We are also paying $62.00 month.  Yes the builders are responsible for the lots and HOA, etc.  Unless they file for bankruptcy (not reorginization).  When moving here I specifically wanted a master planned community with more than one builder just in case they went bankrupt.  If there are 6 builders and one goes under, the fees wouldn't increase as much as a community with just one builder.

I noticed that the backhoes and tractors are starting to show up to work on the bridge. The surveyors had placed stakes and flags in the ground two days ago. Maybe our bridge is underway finally.

I noticed this morning that they were sitting on the West side of the wash doing some work. I can't wait.
