If you want to save money...go shop in bulk. Don't buy lower quality produce, dairy and other stuff. That's where you are saving your money. Plus, these stores beat the crap out of their employees.

That's why I moved out here - got a big a$$ house ( Real Cheap!) - Just don't like paying alot of money for groceries. If I can fine a cheaper place to shop for the same item, I will. Who wouldn't go there! All about saving money! Coupons are a joke, They are used for high end items and Name brands - So You think You are getting a get deal, but your not. You can get a better deal if you buy store brand names, because they come from the same place as Name brands. As far as Food City and /or Ranch Market they seen to items that a cheaper price compared to other super markets. Yes, they might smell alittle and are drity, But they have the Best Dam Chorizo in town.

Never heard of Rancho Market. They smell and are dirty??YUCK. I dont think Frys has that bad of prices and if you can afford name brand by their brand. Go through their ad and buy items that are on sale.

why do people say a place is dirty or smells if they have never even heard of them much less been in them? for the last time, FC and Rancho Market stores cater to the MEXICAN community and those people dont really care too much about aesthetics. all they want is quality food items priced so they can afford them as well as cultural food stuffs that they were used to back home in mexico and FC along with Rancho meets their needs so thats why they shop there. i guarantee while they may not smell as nice, you can get a lof more food for your $$ at rancho or FC as well as traditional mexican food items you would not find at FRYS or Bashas.

I have not heard of them but I was replying to this post that said it did smell and being dirty. I just said Yuck. I should have quoted it.

Personally, I love to save money, but I also won't lower my standards to save some money. I mean, if I go to a store, no matter the store and it smells or is dirty or the meats look bad or anything, I won't go. I'd rather pay full price at a clean store, than pay less at a store that is horrible.

However, no matter how clean a store appears to be, you never really know what goes on behind closed doors. I mean, the store can be the cleanest place on the planet on the shelves, but their butcher area could be horrible. It is possible.

But with that said, I'd rather take the chance that the clean store is up to par than go to a store that makes me want to gag because of the smell or dirty aisles. I love coupons, I love deals, but, there is a limit as to how far I'm willing to go to save money.

Rancho Market makes Food City look like AJ's.

Hey, Maricopamommy, I can't believe you're talking to someone dressed in a nun's outfit and you ask them if they're trying to be funny?

I come from the school of "you get what you pay for".

I used to do a lot of shopping at Albertson's, I seemed to make out cheaper for the items I bought. Many people I know always were under the impression that they were higher priced. I think it all depends on what products you are buying as to who is the cheapest. I personally prefer paying a bit more for a higher quality product.
