I believe another poster contacted Wal-Mart Headquarters a few months ago regarding the planned opening date and was told it would not open until sometime in 2010.

was at the walmart in durango, co last week and that one was 212,000 sq ft. Seemed pretty large. Did i read that this walmart was asked to be reduced down 50,000 sq ft to make it 250,000 sq ft? thats still pretty large. Should be enough.

I believe the article said that the new size was going to be 214,000 sq ft, down from the originally contracted minimum of 250,000 sq ft.
