Last year, a few weeks after I moved into my new home, my house was broken into and robbed on Christmas. The thieves entered by backyard through the unlocked gate and broke one of the back windows. The police looked all over the neighborhood and I believe there were other burglaries the same day.

Lets everyone look out for each other this Christmas. This is when the thieves prey on people knowing they will be away visiting family. Look for kids on bicycles going into back yards where they don't belong. Look for wall jumpers or strangers. Look for seedy characters canvasing neighborhoods. They will often case out neighborhoods to see who is home by pretending to be door to door solicitors.

The people who robbed my home likely came back several times. 2 laptops, hundreds of CD's, 50 DVD's, jewelry, still and video cameras, DVD players, etc...

Lets look out for each other this holiday season.

They are fearsome. I bought them as protection after the robbery.

My guns will scare them...wait I don't like guns. I guess I'm screwed, huh?
My wife's Lhasa Apso(dog) should be able to tear a hole in their shoes or something.
If that doesn't work, our daughter will strategically place all her toys on the floor and trip them.
Nothing beats a burlgar, like Elmo in am bad mood.

Denna.. Very politically correct. I'm impressed. But you forgot to throw something in there like "Yea, the robbers were lured to my house because the followed the Cow Poop smell" and "Why couldn't they rob that little Ghetto house down the block by the big ugly barn".
