Teakwood Tavern - summer 2008

<--- Say his name anyway way you want, but it's pronounced(nov 08) Mr. President.

What about Walmart? Is that still scheduled to be open sometime in 2008?

They are who we thought they were!

I love QT. Always clean. Plenty of room to get up to the pump, unlike Circle K where you stand a chance of getting hit when you pull in there.

McDonalds breakfast is the best. That will be welcome. So will Ruby Tuesday. It will save trips to Casa Grande and Chandler for dinner.

Stupid should hurt!

Not to mention it always seems that 2 to 4 pumps are always out of order at Circle K and the pumps are really slow.

It is, but I think we'll believe it when we see bricks being laid. :-) They've been pushing dirt around for almost a full year and it looks as though they've done a good job clearing the drainage area and laying the outline of where the streets/parking lots will be. But old-timers remember seeing that with the Basha's here, and that took a long time in a market where they were hurrying to take advantage of explosive growth. With growth being so sluggish lately, WalMart has little to gain by speeding it up. ;-)

Fresh and Easy Market seems the same to me, I'm betting it'll be about twelve months from right now before that opens. It'll be great when it does though, so I'm not too worried about the delay.
