Alert | One of my first jobs was in fast food (burger king), than taco bell...etc. I've seen it all...but, I've rarely seen anyone spitting in someone's food.
What I would be more fearful is a sick worker coming to work or those workers who don't wash their hands after using the restrooms, not using their gloves and preparing my burger....yuuuuck. (not in the sense of it's disgusting, but moreso in getting sick from someone passing it on to me and anyone else they've dished out to.)

Look...I'm one of those people who hope, that I don't see my food prepared and when it comes out, there isn't any hair folicles or bug's feet....or I don't hear the cook or food preparer sneeze or cough multiple times....uggghhh. As long as I don't get sick and others, I should be fine.
I could only imagine. My wife's a health inspector for maricopa county, we know where to avoid and what places are repeat violators. Funny thing I learned...it's not things like roaches or rats that get the most points for violations as disgusting as they are, it's things like critical violations for improper food temperatures and employees who are sick and working on the line.
