I guess when you are excited and passionate about something it is hard to NOT say anything. Then there are those that no matter how you say anything they are ready to pounce on you and tear it apart. But, I guess you have to have thick skin when posting on a forum...it goes with the territory. We are keeping the thread alive by talking about it too. Some might say "NO Press is Bad Press". Good Luck!!

I got it from the Forum Terms of Use, I didnt say the site, I said the Forum, which says quite clearly:

post or use the Forum for advertising or promoting your business or for-profit organization

solicit other users to join, become members of, or contribute money to any online blog, forum, service or other organization

Which is...wait....wait....wait for it....where I got that idea. Ads are allowed on the site, where they are....wait...wait...im sure required to be paid for...not in the...wait...wait...forum which is free, and specifcally says no ads.

</div>

That rule is to prevent people from using the forum to advertise their business for free instead of buying add space. You will notice there is paid advertising in the forum area. This user is a paid advertiser.

I'd promote my business too, if I had one. I see nothing wrong with what Wowi is doing.
I won't call anyone out, but there are several other business owners in Maricopa that do the same.
Now, let's get back to the subject of how glad we are to be having new businesses here!!!

Thanks
D72

You didn't read too closely:

All other advertising on the Open Forum is strictly prohibited.

I think you miss the point Jason, whether permitted or not, the posting, the logo, those things made Maui Wowi a target for negative comments before serving its first cup of coffee.

And to 85239.com - The Forum should be ad-free, having companies post their information in their begins to erode the confidence of people who come here for real information. And as we can see from all of the negative response to Maui Wowi, it may be something that you should do to help business from hurting themselves.

I think perhaps you said it better Mommy, keeping your mouth shut would be a better way to go about things, exactly.

I think I am one of the few people who actually answered the question posed by this forum thread, why people have opinions about Maui Wowi, so I wont, but thanks for the advice.
