There is no reason MFC and Anytime can't both serve the cities needs. The Anytime franchise exists along side all the big Gyms. They can serve a different niche. There exists a lot of people who are turned off by the large gym scene, hence the existance of Anytime and Curves, etc. Anytime will still be a better otion for people who need a gym oustside of MFC's hours of operation since they are open 24-7. Anytimes rates were as reasonable as any large Gym we've belonged to.

I belong to Anytime Fitness and really like the service and classes that are provided. I believe that they will "make it" once Mountain side Fitness opens up - know why? Because they offer a peronalised service, that caters to individuals rather than to the masses.

I agree that we need to support our local businesses.

I'm unhappy with Anytime. It's too small and it reminds me of a gym at apartment complexes.

To each his own! Some like the small feel and others like a whole lot more. I prefer the whole lot more but, I am a member of Anytime! I used to work at a real nice Aquatic and Fitness Center that offered more than MFC and there was also Anytime that did just fine too! I wish any business owner the best of luck.

MSF is going to be exactly like the one that is currently at Surprise. I went there a month ago for a certification I needed to take and it was real nice looking. They have a salon, all day spa, media room, freeweights, machine weights, circuit training machines, cycle room, aerobic room, yoga/pilates room, juice bar, daycare, chiorpratic center, message center, basket ball court, rock climbing, personal training and wet/dry saunas. They have a ton of aerobic classes. They have all your regular classes plus the new stuff such as: turbo kick, bosu cardio, bosu streghth and core training with the ball. They are pretty nice but the gyms here are good as well. Just depends on what you are looking for.

Can you go to any other Mountainside Fitness gyms with your membership like at LA Fitness?

My membership I currently have I can go to any location. I used to have one through the Gilbert location that was a special rate for that location so you could only use it there. But I think most of the memberships they do now are for any location.

Yes you can go to any MSF except for the platinum club in Scottsdale. They are also expanding in Colorado too.

Wow! The one in Surprise has a theatre! I thought they only had those in France. Oh, and Canada.

Look at the lot next to Fry's and you can easily see, it's not Jan. or Feb 08'.

They usually start hiring about 2 months out before they are finalized. Send me a PM regarding your qualifications for the current gym (anytime).

Their corp office mentioned to me via email winter of 2008. I was wondering about that whole plaza there and they should be breaking ground real soon. It is already outlined with holding material and the little trailer is on the site with porta potty! I want MS so I can get another PT job there like I had in NC.
