The cops have to PROVE that I wasn't going ACE or the bank and just noticing it was closed and deciding to move on. And they can't give tickets for speeding on private property but they can get creative, maybe for reckless endangerment? They should just sit on 347 and catch speeders there. That should keep them busy.</div>
Police don't have to PROVE anything. As long as they say you were cutting through they can issue you a ticket. You can always go to court where you can contest the ticket and make them PROVE it. It is nice to have a system of checks and balances in this country.
