Where crossing the lane line markings is discouraged, the lane line markings shall consist of a normal solid white line.
Where crossing the lane line markings is prohibited, the lane line markings shall consist of two normal solid white lines.

You know the typical joke, AZ drivers speed up to block when they see someone changing lanes? Well these drivers often miss that chance and then get angry with me. | |

so, you pull in front of a tractor trailer because it takes longer to get it moving, it also takes longer for it to stop. what happens when the car in front of you stops after you cut into the truckers safety zone?
i guess this explains why my insurance doubled by moving to arizona, everyone is in a hurry to get nowhere.... | |

why such a hurry?
and what happens when the minivan mommy in front of you stabs the brake because she dropped her cell phone while texting, and you cut into the space the person behind you left to safely come to a stop?

People here (Arizona) cut others off and create unsafe driving situations for all of us (texting mommies included, slow driving snow birds included, illegal uninsured drivers included) because they weren't ever taught by their parents that they aren't any more important than the rest of us. You see, my theory is that people learn to take what's not theirs because they don't have the skills in life to get/earn what they need on their own, so they resort to taking, and cutting, and cheating in life. They probably scam their way through life in all areas. I just laugh at them and know that they will do themselves in someday (Darwin was right!)
