Alert | Thursday morning at 6:15 (still dark) I was following behind an 18 wheeler, (One of those trash haulers) and he was all over the road. All this took place southbound about 8 miles south of Maricopa on the 347 I used my cell phone and punched in my PROGRAMMED MPD contact, and got the Pinal Couny Sheriff's dept. I gotta go back and check all those emergency numbers I programmed.
Anyway, I was able to get a license plate number to the operator, and she contacted MPD and we were in a 3 way call.
I accidently hit my high beams, and the driver hit his brakes, and got into the left turn lane at the Ak-Chin Fire Department.
I asked MPD if they wanted me to follow the truck, and they told me no. "We do not want you to be put in danger". All I can hope for is that they were able to get him off the road.
He was all over the 2 lane road, and now he is on a 1 lane road. A Head-on just waiting to happen.
