Alert | I also had another idea on how to do our own speed control. Today I observed 99% of people who don't seem to know how to drive when it rains. We can install sprinklers down the middle of 347 for continuous water fall. People drive a minimum of 20 under when it rains. Less speeding = happier people.....right
Im in for this Code3!! I come from Tennessee where I had to drive in snow, rain, mud, gravel, anything and everything. Therefore I feel its safe to say I know how to drive....not this crap these people out here think is driving, Im talking about real driving. I also agree with Jason, the left lane is for speeders. We know we are speeding, we know we have a good chance of getting pulled over eventually. However that is our right. When I have to pass you in the right lane and then put my blinker on to let you know I am about to get in front of you, that does not mean speed up and try to get beside me so that you can honk your horn and act like Im going to run you off the road. Yes Im talking to you little P.O.S. white/yellow car. I know you must of thought that my blinker was my hazard lights, cause who in their right mind would dare use a blinker out here, it confuses too many people.
On a side note, I would like to thank all of the slow poke illiterate "drivers" out there, I have really gotten my road rage under control. However, please obey the law you are trying to enforce yourself and read the signs that say slower traffic keep right.......thats the passenger side lane you idiots!!!

Alert | | I don't know Jason. Could it be the 45,000 f-in cars on the 347 everyday that does not allow all of us to do 100 mph? And the argument isn't just on the 347. I enter the I-10 (e-bound and w-bound 5 days a week) and I can't get people to go 65 mph in front of me. Why aren't you be-utching about that too? | | I previously had 1 trillion posts!

Because I-10 is physically overloaded and 347, isn't. I can physically move over in my lane and see two air-heads leading the pack, that if they just sped up, we could go a decent speed.

Alert | | I've found that my vehicle gets the best gas mileage at UNDER 65 MPH. I now normally drive at around 60MPH and find that I am more relaxed and am only a couple of minutes later when I get to my destination. Of course I stay to the right lane. But I do slow everybody down by going slower(butterfly effect). I'm more relaxed & I save money on gas...I can live with it.

Alert | | Again, I have no problem with people going under the limit (within reason). Just, please, don't pace the cars in the left lane. It takes two to do that and neither one is excusable. | | Joined: Jul 2005

Doesn't Jason drive a Daihatsu or something? I'll bet the only time he is flying is when he can draft behind a real car. And I'll bet he would not flip people off...at least where they can see it.

I swear, every day this week and last, on the way home there is someone in the left lane going 5-20 MPH under the speed limit. And the right lane is going even slower! Would it kill you people to go over or speed up?
LOL.. it might kill them.. it just might!!!!
Why don't you go the speed limit Jason, it just might save your life to NOT go 5-20 over the speed limit. LOL.. same old arguements again. Let's not go back and forth about it. | | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!! We don't have to make the same arguments again unless you keep bringing up straw man attacks like this one. I am only asking people to go into the right lane if they aren't going to go the speed limit. And to not pace other cars. It's simple and the law, like you like to say. | | Joined: Jul 2005

Alert | You all make me laugh. Talking about wanting others to obey the law and yet you are the ones breaking it too. What a joke!! You do know that driving 20+ miles over is criminal speeding and you could lose your license for that?? Plan on leaving your house earlier so you don't have to rush to wherever you are headed.
On a side note, I can't believe the many parents that are willing to risk their children's life. I see too many parents driving 15+ over with their kids in the vehicles with them. Those people obviously should not have procreated since they have high disregard for life.
And to all you speeders who think it is ok to go as fast as you do, the day you hit me or kill someone in my family, you can bet you will be riding a bike to work, the mall, school, or wherever you seem to be in a hurry to get too. | | Proud Momma of 2 beautiful boys!!!
