Once again I'll ask: Why 65? Why not 55 or 45?

Because Jason, You don't make up the speed limits, ADOT DOES! it's as simple as that. Go the posted speed limit.

And there we have it: Sinbad you can use your brain on everything but determining an appropriate speed.

Ahh... sinbad didn't say JACK about 66 mph... You need to quote me on that one my friend. The only thing you keep spouting off about is the fact that Speedometer isn't calibrated. That doesn't matter... when I look down and see 65 that's 65mph in my book. You go 70-80 mph on purpose not by accident.

Did you or did you not say that if you're going 65 and someone catches up to you they are breaking the law? Would you agree that someone going 66 would catch up to you?

Let it be known: Sinbad's speedometer is perfect and never, ever exceeds the speed limit. We should all hope to be as perfect as Sinbad!

OK everyone read this statement Jason posted on another thread. Is he worried about speeders? or is he worried about the Slow traffic to the right traffic signs.

No, I'm saying that's the intent of the speed cameras, to catch speeders and speeders only. They need to catch other dangerous people. You seriously need to quit reading stuff into my posts.

Once again.. If you are going 65 and 3 cars length behind me .. I am going 65... how is that blocking traffic or RACING as you put it. I think you tried to TWIST that Racing thing to Spin it in your favor.

We've been over this and you refuse to see how blatantly illogical your reasoning is. The law makes no provision for the speed currently being traveled. If you are attempting to block other cars from passing (at any speed) you are racing. Plain and simple, no twisting.

Yeah... that's why the Photo truck is there every morning and every evening. Because the 347 isn't high on there list.

Hey, read a bit further in that thread and don't take my statements out of context.

And that's the concern: they're not doing anything but catching speeders. Heck, they're not even going to go after those going excessively fast, so there is no immediate effect.

More Hog wash....

Tsk, tsk! When you snap a photo radar ticket, there is no immediate impact and the person goes on and continues speeding. They could cause an accident according to you! How is that hog wash? How is it hog wash that they don't catch the idiot texting at 65 MPH?

Do you care about Speeders? or you just care about all of those speeders that are driving faster than you are speeding!

I care about people driving dangerously at any speed. Put cops out there with brains that can decide who to go after. If you haven't gotten this by now...

LOL... Jason.. just LOL......

You do your 70-80 mph... and I will stay in the Left lane doing my 65....

Problem solved...
I would love for you to talk your way out of a ticket using some of the hog wash you are throwing out on this thread about "Safe Driving Condition" to a cop or Judge. If you can do that... I guess slower traffic should stay right.

otherwise, you are just blowing smoke!

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

It's funny you mention that, because judges do toss out 5 and 10 MPH tickets because of safe driving conditions.
