 Alert | Tony, I don't just decide I don't care for someone by reading posts on a forum. You have met me, and I introduced myself as "Percival" from the forum. That night you were rude and pissed me off.
So for the initial reason for the posting, I agree with you that some people drive like maniacs around here. I have kids also and can relate to your feelings on this. It just seemed a little off to incorporate a stereotype of Steeler Fans based on this idiot.

First of all the fact that you introduced yourself as Percival from the forum in itself disconnects from the personal connection combined with loads of alcohol. personally, I had a good time that night and last time I checked did nothing rude to piss anyone off. If I remember correctly the party was loaded with alcohol and jello shots and there was ALOT of overzealous individuals there.
Perhaps we should relegate this to other forum members that were kind enough to introduce themselves by their real names and THEn associate themselves with their forum name. Stinkerbell and others feel free to chime in.
Other than that percival, I didnt stereotype Steelers fans based on this one individual instance. As a lifelong Colts fan I have beento many Colts Steelers games and have witnessed first hand on MANY occasions the differences between say a Steelers fan and a Ravens fan, or perhaps a Jets fan. Better Yet RAIDERS fans. There are more arrests for disorderly conduct in Indianapolis after a Steelers game and DURING the game then ANY OTHER team in town.
Is it my personal stereotype? Nope.
Now if I WAS rude and offended you at the Luau, I apologize. I simply don't remember you or any "rude" behavior. the only people I can think of that may have gotten that vibe were one of the two guys who lived in Province who I spoke to for FIVE minutes then simply walked away. Or the guy who kept making the really "gay" comments and felt the need to blame it on me. If you are that guy that really sucks that you feel this way because your wife was really sweet and funny and left a lasting impression with both Jessi and i. And she smelled like white chocolate.

No I was not the one at the jello shot party. I was at RJ's one night for Gears of War. I didn't just introduce myself as my forum name and actually talked to you for a while about what I do for a living. You didn't so much upset me that night (well a little) but from reading your remarks to others on this forum I have summarized that you are rude and offensive. Maybe I don't know you well enough to make that judgement, I thank you for your apology and I am sure that this community is small enough that we will cross paths again and I can make a more informed assessment of you. Not that it matters I am sure.

Leave 10 min earlier if you have to. Yeah, sometimes it is longer than ten minutes, but it is definately safer. When I have my children in the car, safer is the only option. Don't let the idiot drivers influence how you drive. If someone speeds up to get ahead of you at the left turn onto I-10, let him go. Good for him, he saved 30 seconds of drive time. Try not to let is bother you. Could you imagine how you would have to drive to keep up with that idiot driver that cut you off? Totally not worth it especially with your children in the vehicle with you. The best we could do is keep obeying the traffic laws and report egregious violations to the prespective authorities and hope that enough of us are phoning in to make a difference. | | | |

I asked "livingincopasux" why the woman in the black expedition should be shot, and was kindly referred to this thread.
It does suck that this happened, and totally think it's horrible. I just want to make it clear...I am a woman, who is a Steelers fan, who drives a black Ford ESCAPE not EXPEDITION and my child (singular) is always buckeled in, and I DON'T drive like a maniac...SO PLEASE don't confuse me with this woman!
You can hate the team I support..GO STEELERS...but please don't hate or mistaken me for this person you speak of...that's all I ask  | |
