Alert | | Better route would be take Mar/CG Hwy to Val Vista - about 12 miles from 347. Turn left on Val Vista heading north. Take Val Vista to the traffic light - about 8 miles. Turn left at the traffic light. You are now on Pinal Avenue in Casa Grande. I-10 is about 3-4 miles from there. | |

Alert | Take another route. I was going to Phoenix...took me 30 minutes to get from Smith-Enke to Ranch El Dorado Drive only to be turned around. Cops are NOT letting anyone through. So...go towards Casa Grande take Val Vista Road - that links to Pinal Ave - turn left and drive northbound til you get to the I-10 ramp.

Alert | One was a Jeep Wrangler--might be white unsure it was it one it's side away from view and one was a blue Saturn.

Alert | I just got a call form my hairdresser. She lives in AC (as do I) and she works in Ahwatukee. I was going to get a haircut later this morning, and she asked me to reschedule, since I'll never make it on time.
She said from AC to RED it took her about 30 minutes, only to have to turn into RED. She finally drove to CG to hop on the I-10 into Ahwatukee. | |

It actually happened earlier than that...My hubby called about 7:20 to say that 2 Maricopa city police cars just flew past him with lights and sirens on and then 2 minutes later he came upon the scene. No other emergency vehicles were there yet. | | | |
