 Alert | on schedule, and to be honest, I am surprised. I was coming back to Maricopa and they have the right lane blocked off for "shaving" and all traffic heading into Maricopa is in the left lane.
Should make for an interesting commute home for those who have to this afternoon. I'm guessing there will be a bit of a delay?

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

Alert | I came south on the 347 at about 7:30 AM--not too bad. It took me about 15 minutes more to get home than usual. The nice thing was that at least I didn't have to drive hunched over in fear of getting rear-ended or passed on the right-hand side by drivers in a rush to get to 'copa.
I did notice that traffic northbound seemed to be backed up and moving slower though. Not sure why. | | | |

Geez, what do you expect? People moan about broken roads and then moan about delays to fix the problem. Fixing things takes time, be glad they are not completely shutting down the road like they did for I-10 recently on weekends when they rubberized it. | |

i'm not the one crying that they suck, they are doing the job to the best of their ability. it takes time to resurface miles of roadway, and not get killed in the process by some a-hole that can't follow signs.

It's a fact that ADOT sucks. We were told there wouldn't be restrictions during the rush hour commutes and they totally blew that off today. If you think that isn't bad, then you should really go to work for them because you would fit right in with that gang of fools. I saw 2-3 ADOT trucks just sitting on the side of the road watching and doing nothing while only one was working to pick up the barriers to open the lane back up after 5:00 p.m.

Alert | please explain how they can safely reopen a lane by picking up the cones, without starting with the furthest down stream and working your way up. if you start in 2 different places in the line of cones a commuter will change lanes and possibly hit any workers still in the work zone further down stream.
but i guess your an expert, so please tell us another method of safely reopening lanes. | |
