Alert | | Stock 16". I've seen some on 347 with lifted trucks and probably 22+" wheels. They also tend to be the most aggressive. | | Joined: Jul 2005

I wouldn't say aggressive just annoying. It sucks when you have one of these lifted trucks behind you at night you are blinded by their raised up headlights.

I don't understand why anyone would "lift" a truck, then put low profile tires on it.

I wouldnt call it agressive at all. You people driving little cars should have thought about your decision to not buy a real vehicle before complaining about trucks. You have to realize that there are alot of times that you idiots drive in our blind spots and sometimes if your next to say, me, I look out my passenger side window and I dont even see the top of your little car. I cant help it if you my lights seem bright to you, tint your windows or get out of the way and stop driving 55 in the left lane. | | Im the one speeding on the 347, move over or get run over!

If you can't see cars right next to you then YOU are the one with the problem. If you are riding so close to my bumper at 75 that I can't even see all of your truck's front bumper, let alone any headlights, YOU are the one with the problem.
I'm sick and tired of being nearly run off the road by manipulative control freaks with lifted trucks and SUVs that think they own the road. | | Joined: Jul 2005

Alert | I have 22's but my Tahoe isn't lifted. I see complaints that the big trucks and SUV's are aggressive. Well little car drivers are too. That 347 in the morning is crazy. I never have trucks pull in front of me cutting me off probably out of the respect that they KNOW I can't stop on a dime. Those little car drivers don't even think about that and one day someone is going to get squashed. I am on your bumper most likely becuase you cut me off and my truck doesn't stop or slow down like your little car can.
And people who wait last minute to cut into line at the I10 intersection. STOP! You are causing the line. Wait your turn like the rest of us. I almost ran over a little focus cause he tried to cut in last minute to make that left turn. NOT COOL! | | pawshpettreats.com

Alert | | There's a car I see in my neighborhood. Probably around a '74 Caddy, not restored, just an old '74 Caddy. Well it must have 26" rims on it. When I see it I always wonder how much more the wheels and tires cost than the car itself.

Alert | | That is funny! I would wonder the same thing. I don't think there is anything wrong with nice rims and tires. It makes the vehicle look nice. I have done it to my Tahoe. Too bad this thread turned so negative. (not you desertscratch, your comment is funny and a good point)I personally like my vehicle to look nice just as I do my house, my children and anything else that belongs to me. I am not sure what is wrong with that. I saw who had the biggest wheels and thought it would be fun to see the responses and to see who has the biggest wheels. But it got ugly real quick and that really is ashame. CHILLAX folks. | | pawshpettreats.com

Alert | | Sounds like geewiz has some issues he needs to deal with. Those of us who have lifted trucks are not making up for some male issue. Some of us with trucks actually use them to tow things like my toy hauler, quad trailer or jetski trailer. Some of us with 4x4 actually use the 4x4 to go places, like the dunes or to pull jetskis or boats out from the lake. Maybe you should stop and think about the fact that larger tires make a HUGE difference while towing a trailer thru the soft sand. Oh and tell us oh genius, how does that old POS 2wd ford work for you when some idiot in a little car cuts you off? Those old worn out drum brakes do wonders dont they? Feel free to come at me with any baseball bat also, I welcome the opportunity to wedge it firmly up your tight little rear end. Wait, nevermind you already have something firmly lodged up there, your head. | | Im the one speeding on the 347, move over or get run over!

Even if the little girl in the big black truck doesn't want to admit it she is in denial. As far as having to pull all those thing you brag about owning I see plenty of trucks pulling them down 347 all the time that are not lifted with standard size tires. Maybe you just need some (alot of)driving lessons. My old ford will be around long after you POS big black truck finds it way to the bone yard. I also wish you would stop looking at my tight little rear end that way when I'm at FRY's it's freaking me out. I'm not one of your friday night buddies.
Beowulf I never said I hate your lifted trucks just have no use for them. I see no problem if they get used for recreation purposes. But to use it as a daily driver thats is were the ego issue comes in.

Alert | | Wow, now we all know who has the issue. You've already offered your baseball bat services and you clearly are jealous of those of us who can afford to have nice things. | | Im the one speeding on the 347, move over or get run over!
