 Alert | | Did anyone else see the tow truck driver this morning near Casa Blanca? He was apparently mad because people were driving in the right lane and was afraid he would be hit...so...his bright idea was to jump in front of the cars (in the middle of the lane) and yell at them to go ahead and hit him! If you dont want to be hit this is definitely not the way to lessen your chances or get your point across! What made matters worse was he was causing traffic to serve onto the left lane. Not the best idea either because we left laners were watching for that photo radar! | | | |

Alert | | I did towing for extra cash and believe me you get mad at people because they just don't care if you are working on the side of the road and will almost hit you. They never move over a lane to give you room. With the way people drive in AZ I feel his pain but jumping in traffic is not the way to go. | |

I saw him.
I moved over, but was amazed that he would take three steps on his tow and then two steps on standing in the middle of the street to move people over.
I have worked with emergency vehicles and with tow trucks in the past.
One word.. flares.
You lay a flare pattern out and you are much safer. That is tow truck 101.
That would have fixed the issue.
Why would he risk his life so stupidly?
