I work for the Chandler Traffic Engineering Dept and just saw a printout that 347 will be restricted to one lane for both directions starting tonight at 6pm until early Monday morning. This will be at 347 and Maricopa Rd up north where Queen Creek turns into Maricopa Rd near the casino. Like everyone else I don't want to get stuck in the funeral procession it is when it's like this and we're trying to get to/from home. The printout said it was for repaving work. You've been warned.....but don't shoot the messenger. Be patient and have a good weekend

It's to add additional length to the left turn lane at old Maricopa Rd.

from az511.com sr 347 at maricopa rd, left travel lane both north and southbound closed to repave maricopa rd left turn lane. northbound closure will begin friday at 6:00pm, southbound will begin friday at 8:00pm. call: 602-712-7176
