Alert | | You just have to act like you like the right lane then they will let up and walla??? you are on your way. I was talking to my brother stationed over in Germany and he says that kind of thing would never happen over there. wait actually i sent him the website that was on the last forum to stop left hand drivers haha | | The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed. Alert | What ever you say... Passing above 70 is speeding.. and that means "US".
*guilty of it sometimes to..*
Doesn't make it right .... or the left....
| | Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem. ______________________________________ *************************************** San Diego Super Chargers! GO!!! Joined old forum March 2006 Post count: 3068 + these | |

Alert | | get over it people....people will drive in whichever lane they choose....no matter what speed they are going...just go around them whether you pass them on the right or left...lighten up...and go around them...start worrying about more important things in life | | *formerly known as inyrfce2* Senior Member Posts: 797 Joined: Dec 2006

Alert | | Unfortunately we can't change what other do but how we accept what they do we can change. In my life there are better things to get upset, ticked off, or worry about. I always catch up to the ones that have the need to drive like man men (or women) at the next light. <img src='http://www.85239.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/hehe.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='HeHe' align='absmiddle'> | | Senior Member Posts: 4625 Joined: Feb 2006

Alert | | demonica....so is speeding...so is driving without your seatbelt....or being distracted while driving which can happen in many forms....there are so many things we all do that are illegal on the roadways....worrying about who is driving in which lane and how fast they are driving is a waste of time....lets put those efforts to securing our border and getting our boys out of iraq...that seems more worthwhile to me | | *formerly known as inyrfce2* Senior Member Posts: 797 Joined: Dec 2006

have you read a driver's license manual lately?</div>
Have you read the LAW lately?
28-724. Overtaking on the right
A. The driver of a vehicle may overtake and pass on the right of another vehicle only under the following conditions:
1. When the vehicle overtaken is making or about to make a left turn.
2. On a street or highway with unobstructed pavement that is not occupied by parked vehicles and that is of sufficient width for two or more lines of moving vehicles in each direction.
3. On a one-way street or on a roadway on which traffic is restricted to one direction of movement and if the roadway is free from obstructions and of sufficient width for two or more lines of moving vehicles.
B. The driver of a vehicle may overtake and pass another vehicle on the right only under conditions permitting the movement in safety. The driver shall not make the movement by driving off the pavement or main traveled portion of the roadway.
Funny thing, they cite ARS sections in court, not AZ Driver's License Manual pages.
That's the section which explicitly authorizes passing on the right for one-way and one lane roads (otherwise, from other sections you'd be limited to passing on the left, which is illegal for someone about to turn left). I find no section that explicitly prohibits passing on the right. Can you find one? | | Joined: Jul 2005

Alert | Come on Demonica! You made him quote the law again!!!
You had to know he was going to do that if you put forth that question/statement! You are being an enabler to him. Like setting up the comic relief, feeding him the lines he needs to be able to either quote something from the dictionary or out of some legal statute!
And by the way...how long can this thread go on? Yes, we all hate that slow people drive in the left lane! Just do what I do, go around, cuss them out, givem the finger and on to the next one! | | Who's using me, what should we do? Because you can't be a pimp and a prostitute too. - White Stripes

Alert | I saw a car on 347 the other day with the license plate that said "Byte me". I wondered who would have "Byte Me" on their plate. Was it your car Jason? I thought, maybe that was Jason and maybe he has a license plate that says "Byte me". He is a computer type person, so it would make sence to have "Byte Me" on his plate... Only computer guys would have "Byte me" on their license plates. So, Jason, was that you? Do you have "Byte Me" on your car?

I am done trying to pass in the left lane much easier to pass on the right since all the slow losers are in the left lane.</div>
you know, until I read this, I thought I was the only one with complaints. It seems like everyone has it backwards and they think they are supposed to be in the left lane rather than the right. It's a pain in hte right lane with the bad road and all but at least you can go faster - do you all really go the speed limit?? just curious.
