I don't have a problem with traffic cameras with the exception that they can't enforce our traffic laws fairly or equally. Photos of you and your license plate will only get you a ticket if you are an otherwise law abiding citizen. The lawless don't get caught because radar and a camera alone won't catch them. They cover their license plate with reflective material, use a license plate that isn't registered to the car they're driving, unlawfully tint their windshield, etc.
Call me old fashioned, but I liked it when police officers worked traffic, not just to enforce traffic laws, but to nab robbers, burglars, murderers, rapists, kidnappers and other criminals.
Now, instead of being placed in a patrol car and taken to jail, the only thing that happens is a light flashes, a camera clicks, and the suspects continue dangerously down the road, many times too drunk to appreciate the technology that is keeping them out of jail.

How do you go from speed enforcement to listening devices? Pretty big leap there.
Not a big leap. "Big Brother."

Sounds like you need a license plate cover to protect yourself.
