Remember the policy that was put into effect to report speeders on the 347, well there is a new policy in effect for leaving during rush hour that was put in place by the city this week. The new policy is designed to get you where you need to be on time and it is called "the leave 10 minutes early rule". Here is a quote from the mayor. "Being a progressive city like Maricopa we want our citizens to get to their jobs on time so we have instituted this new 10 minute policy to look out for them. In 2 years we will make an update to it called the 'leave 20 minutes early rule' this will insure that drivers get to their destinations as we experience this heavy growth." In 5 years the city plans to implement the "leave 30 minutes early rule". These are new and effective tools to help combat traffic and get you to your jobs on time since there are no jobs in this town. I for one appreciate our city working hard on these problems and coming up with these new and progressive solutions. What are your thoughts?

So, if we all leave 10 min early - That means to roadway will be back-up 10 min early.

Bingo! You can't make up for insufficient capacity unless you spread out the commuting hours or increase capacity.

That's already happened. I used to leave at 6:30 to avoid the traffic and then it got so bad, I now leave late morning and work late.

Everyone message Jason and he can set up a schedule, at 10 min intervals, as to when people can leave their homes. This way, there will be a manageable flow of traffic up the 347.

Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.
