Alert | | I've got a scan gauge that reads generic OBD II codes for engine trouble, but my car currently has an electrical alarm that it can't read. VAG-COM makes a reader specific to VW/Audi codes. Does anybody happen to have one of these that would be so kind as to let me use it to see what code my car is throwing? My car has the 16-pin interface. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've got the 409.1 software, do you know if that will work with yours? My current work laptop doesn't have a serial port only usb, but I think my old laptop at home might. Will double check when I get home. It's just the 9 pin serial correct? I really appreciate it Garion, thanks!

Alert | | Garion, I sent you a private message. Think I've got everything I need if you're still willing to let me use your cable for a few minutes to scan. Thanks!
