That's a fun route. We did it in our truck on a geocaching run last spring. Can't wait to see more photos.

This will give you an idea of how far out in the middle of nowhere we actually were.

Gorgeous Sonoran Desert scenery like this was all along the trail.

No, that's not a snake trail, that's a Jeep trail. Actually, one of the wider ones that we drove on.

Evilspock's attempt to be the first Jeep TJ in orbit.

Well I was the loser without a Jeep - just along for the ride but I earned my keep by letting Sue use one of my camera's.

Here are some of her shots.

Some history

Of course she took a picture of her SWEET Jeep

None of us were able to get a shot of the low flying jet though. It was a sight to see!

Evilspock not evil enough for this hill

To give you an idea of how tall this little hill was- Look in the top rt corner. You can see Desert Dwellers Jeep and even him standing a little ways in front.

It was a really fun day. Thanks for letting us tag along. I am sure we will do again soon.
My son has told all his friends about jet fly over, that was awesome.
DD and Newman: Great pictures! I am very impressed. John, killer new Rubicon you have there.

Re: The hill. I made it up there once before, there was just too much
loose rock right there. That is what I get for trying to show off.
Oh well, it is nothing that throwing a few
thousand dollars more at the jeep won't cure. Smiley Face Goes Here

Next trip idea: Oatman Massacre Site?

Great pics. Make sure you post up the trip info on the Oatman Massacre Site when you decide to go. Maybe I'll get to take my Jeep on this one and leaves Sue's in the garage.

Hey guys,

Aaron, thanks so much for the use of the camera. I had fun, shots are lame compared to you guys but still I had fun. The trail was beautiful to say the least. The weather was perfect.

Next trail I have to drive but like I said when my sugar level don't behave its better for everyone if I let David drive. And just a correction the Rubi is mine David has the 98 TJ which is sweet in its own right.

Oh, there will be another run. It's in the makings now. Next time we will try for a little more publicity and we'll see how many Jeeps there really are in Maricopa. Just keep an eye on this thread and post your desire to go along as we will be setting up the next one.
