I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the commute is like getting out of Maricopa at 8 a.m.? Currently I leave the house at 4:45, but am thinking about switching hours, unless the traffic is horrible at this hour. I'd appreciate any insight! Thanks.

i don't have a commute, but when i leave at 8am sometimes to run errands, the traffic seems to be fine.

If you can't spot the loser, it might be you

From my experience, traffic leaving Maricopa 8:00 starts to clear up, so you probably will only add about 10 minutes to a normal 5AM commute. However, if there were any traffic hiccups, traffic will probably be backed up to the light at Rinkers, which will add another 10-15minutes. Unless of course the was a major incident, where you will add an hour to your commute.

We leave at 8 and usually can get to the I-10 in 20-25 as long as there's no accidents and they haven't messed with the timing of the Riggs Rd. light. I go all; the way downtown and can usually drop my husband off at work and be in my office in 45 minutes total. BUT - we do get to use the HOv lane which helps tremendously!!!!

Adversity does not build character - it reveals it.
