I'm beginning the process of looking for a new car and I have a recommendation for a Nissan salesman but wondered in anyone here had a Toyota salesman that they were happy with. I absolutely HATE shopping for a new car. I had contacted Brad with AAA but haven't heard a thing from him in 3 weeks. I don't have the time to keep calling him to see how he's making out so I'm back to having to do this on my own. I've done my homework, know what I want and how much I'm willing to spend - I just need to drive the car and then see what kind of deal I can make. Thanks for your help!

Do you have a Sam's Club or Costco membership? You might want to take a look at their Auto Buying Program. I'm Sure some Credit Union's in AZ have a Auto Buying program also. Back home, I purcharsed my Tundra through my Credit Union, no hassle special member pricing. Sorry I don't have a recommendation for a Salesman here in AZ, but good luck with your new car purchase.

Tom Bowman - New Car Sales Manager, B Team, Right Toytoa
Kevin Quigley - Salesman, Right Toyota
Cody Jacobs, - Salesman, Right Toyota
Jon Ferris - Manager, Right Toyota

Kevin and Cody are rather new salesmen but extremely good.
I've gotten nothing but great service from Tom and Jon. Tom has helped me in so many ways with cars when my credit was less then good.

I highly recommend them. Tell them Tony from Poker says hi!

Thank you all so much! We are Costco members so I filled out their interest form. Jmel - I will definitely contact Jason since the 2 cars I'm interested in are the Nissan Murano and the Toyota Highlander. I love this forum - you all are so helpful to those of us who are relative "newbies."

Hubby is Assistant Sales Manager with the New Big Two Toyota off Gilbert/202.

Give him a call and let him know what you are looking for. He will get you taken care of and make sure you get the best deal! Let him know his wife referred you. :-)

I would recommend contacting the internet department of multiple dealerships via phone and just playing them against each other via phone. The big three Japanese automakers don't have much variety in their models so getting a good price on comparable models is pretty easy. Just keep going until one of them says they can't match a price.

In general, the internet departments are willing to go much lower than the guys on the floor because they're still trying to get their volume up. Just stay out of the showroom until you talk to one of the internet guys. They will often sell a car at a loss of as much as $500.

Most dealerships get their big bucks through the service department rather than selling cars anyway. Since you're looking at a Toyota, they probably won't see your big money for a long time.

If you dont want the hassle of going to the dealership, would also reco AAA Auto Buying, Bill Halvorsen. You have him make the deal and he will even appraise your trade. then you sign and drive away from AAA in Tempe. Painless and smooth. No hassle.
