OMG - I agree. I live in Veranda just before Edison where the new road goes by Fry's. It's like taking a chance with your life turning left out of there.

From having experience with this "new" Maricopa PD I haven't really seen a department as corrupt as ours. Dodge Chargers and Sportbikes? How funny. At least I know where my taxes are going, and they are going to a department of rookie cops that want to play. Last week a nice young "officer" and I use this term loosly tried to get us to race him on Honeycut. It was nice they way he rode our ass untill the lane split into 2 then came along side us revving and jumping his POS. Reminds me of Hazzard County. The Feds are going to have a hayday with this unit.
In regards to your comment above..."rookie cops" not one of them is a rookie, I have met them and all of them come from other cities or DPS as lateral transfers. These officers have the best equipment out there to do there job and catch all these people we all complain about. Give them time, only 14 officers on the road with hopes of 60 by next july. We have come a long way for a city only 4 years old. | | | |
