 Alert | There is an accident at Riggs and 347, two semis one on its side. Traffic is backed up to Casa Blanca because of it.
Not sure if Casa Grande route is faster at this point.

Alert | Wife just got past it, it is in the middle of the intersection but North bound is still open. Takes an hour to get past Riggs road.

i left red around 7 and got to chandler around 9, use casa grande if you can.
overturned rig, looks like it was hauling gravel. adot just showed up with a loader and dump truck to start cleanup when i passed throuigh. there was also a green mass of metal that may have been a car at some point, there wasn't enough left in tact for me to determine make and model as i passed...
northbound was being directed through the riggs intersection by police, and 347 is ruduced to one lane where you would make the left to get on maricopa road (behind the race track).
and of course everyone is driving erradically after the road reopens since they are now frustrated and late.

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

Looks like S/B is closed....I would take Casa Blanca, I doubt a large number of people coming this way at this time of day.

Alert | From what I could tell, the "green mass of metal" was the front cab of one of the tractor-trailers -- the one that was in the intersection, not the one that turned over.
Southbound is still closed, as of 9:25 AM. It is being re-routed onto Maricopa Road (which runs north along Firebird and one of the Gila casinos, back onto the 10). | | | |
