 Alert | So if you look at my previous post you will see that I am going through a divorce. He is paying all my bills for now since I have been a SAHM for so long. I am ready to get back into the work force though but cant do it because he has our only car. Heck I cant even get to the grocery store!
I am not looking for a car over $3,000 but I just dont have all of that right now. I tried dealerships but they all want me to get a $5,000 + car and I know the second I drive it off the lot it will be a $2,000 car. Plus, we cant really get financed because we just financed my (soon to be ex) husbands car a couple months ago.
Does anyone have any ideas or know of anyone that will accept payments on a private sell?

Alert | | It will still be a crappy car but try some of the 'rock lots' in CG. They take X down and weekly or monthly payments direct to them - no banks involved. | |

Alert | My son just left me his car when he went on the mission field to India for the next 15 years.
It is a Nissan Sentra 4-door with 144,857 miles on it. It is silver color and has good tires on it.
I have used it to drive back and forth to work for the last 6 years and it has been a great car.
I have not looked up the blue book value but I am sure we can work something out.
