I saw this site a couple months ago and thought it was really neat. They have crash test videos of many different makes/models of cars. Considering the number of crashes on the 347 lately, I thought everyone may want to see how their cars ranked. Mine: Scion XB 2006 - Frontal Offset: Good - Side Impact: Poor * Although I have an XA, these are essentially the same car. My XA <em>does</em have side impact air bags, so that rating would have probably been "Acceptable" instead of "Poor". Honda Fit 2007 - Frontal Offset: Good - Side Impact: Good LOL! I have a 07 sentra it only shows 00-06. Front is acceptable and side is poor. But the side is with no airbags. The 07 has either 6 or 8 airbags. So I hope mine isn't that bad.

Since the Sentra was redesigned for 2007, there is no way to know how it will perform in a crash until they test it. The 2006 crash test ratings have no bearing on 2007 models.

My XA does There appear to be subtle differences in the design of the A-pillar and B-pillar of the xA and xB. Subtle differences can make all the difference in a side-impact so there is no way to know unless they actually crash test it how it will perform. Case in point: GM had to make minor revisions in how their van's B-pillar was designed, and got a significantly better rating.

Jason's right. There may not be a video, but I'm sure that you could find the results of a 2007 Sentra crash test. At the very least, the existence of the side impact airbags in the 07 model should have increased the side impact rating. I looked at the 07 Yaris, and they tested both with and without side impact airbags. The rating changed from poor to good just because of this. Obviously, head injuries are the most crucial factor.
