Alert | I just went searching through the various accident threads to find the best directions in and out of Maricopa when 347 is inaccessable.
Here are the directions from Fritzydoodle for the Maricopa/Casa Grande Hwy -> Val Vista -> I-10 route in one nice easy to find thread:
To Maricopa: Take I-10 to exit 185 (Pinal Ave) Pinal Ave South to Val Vista Road. Turn right heading west on Val Vista until it dead ends at the Maricopa/CG Hwy. Turn right, heading west on the Mar/CG Hwy to SR347
From Maricopa: Take Mar/CG Hwy to Val Vista - about 12 miles from 347. Turn left on Val Vista heading north. Take Val Vista to the traffic light - about 8 miles. Turn left at the traffic light. You are now on Pinal Avenue in Casa Grande. I-10 is about 3-4 miles from there.

Alert | | This was the best way tonight with the accident except I made the mistake of being in right lane before Casa Blanca and right lane was so backed up. Stay in left lane until past Casa Blanca when returning to Maricopa

Alert | It adds only 15 minutes more to your commute in going this route.
When the Riggs light was out, my wife left for work at 6:40am and was stuck on Casa Blanca. When I left at 7:15, I eventually made it up to Loop 202 at the same time she was just getting onto I-10. | | ** If I'm not authorized to post a reply, does that mean I'm banned from 85239.com? **
