I contacted them. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've done that regarding this light in the past year. It's always messed up. The city of Maricopa also told me I had to contact ADOT to request to put in another left hand turn lane in on JWP and Smith Enke. Isn't that a city issue that should be easily handled since there is already a lane there? Why is everything so jacked up in this city? What is the transportation manager and staff doing besides devising a 5 year plan? We need a current plan or else we are going to continue to be buried with traffic problems here. It seems nobody in city government cares.

They are who we thought they were!

Remember that JWP is really SR 347 and Smith-Enke is SR 238. These stae roads are developed by the state for the state. All the city, oops town, can do is request the change. If residents also request this change than it may happen sooner than much later.

Don't get me started on the traffic lights, but Riggs and SR 347 is not the only problem. At the SR 238 and JWP, the light timing seems to me to be off by 12 hours. I sit on JWP in the evening almost twice as long than in the morning watching the tumbleweeds go through.
