So it took 30 minutes to get from Honeycutt to the RED light this morning at 5:30am. Why? Because the bastards at ADOT didn't have the right lane on 347 opened up until 5:50am. It was total gridlock between the 347 northbound plus the huge line of cars on 238 trying to get on. I'm calling the ADOT this morning followed by the City after that. I know I will probably get nothing accomplished but this can't not be allowed to happen.

Call the AZ DOT at 602.712.7355 and press option 3. I have been calling everytime there is a traffic backup to complain, and demand they provide better notification to Maricopa residents and start exploring new highway options. No luck so far, but if enough people start doing that, they hopefully will cave to the pressure. Someone does answer the line at times, he is fairly helpful, and can put you in touch with the construction crew for updates.

Here is a lady who works for ADOT who's involved in this project. Please try contacting her, she may be able to do something about this.
