Okay, so I was driving into town last night and realized I needed to head back to Maricopa. No problem, I will just turn right at Rinkers and use the red light to turn left so I can head back to Maricopa. After sitting at the red light waiting to go south on 347 for 15 minutes and trying everything to make it change to green, I had to run it. Whats up with that red light. Do you need a semi to activate it? This is way wrong!

wow.. interesting.. must be broken...

Just doing it one day at a time. Change is good and it should be looked upon as an improvment! not a problem.

It's probably timed to only change when Riner is open so that we don't all have to sit at a red light at all hours for an intersection that is only used for cross traffic during the Rinker business hours.

Rinker is "open" all the time... They have trucks hauling loads out of there at 1am sometimes so that doesn’t seem right???

I agree, it shouldn't change to red for traffic headed north and south if no one is using it. However, this is not the case. I was sitting on Rinkers trying to turn left onto 347 to head back to Maricopa. The only way to do it is to run the red light and let me tell you that is dangerous. With traffic screwed up the way it is right now, its hard to find a huge gap to pull into. Thats why I waited so long at the light. I made sure that there were no cars headed either way on 347. They need to get this light fixed if its broken.
