I have been checking how many miles ADOT covers each day. Anyone else? I have found on a avg. that they have been paving 1.7 miles per day.

Anyone else have a different number?

Would have been nice if they had done one direction at a time. Instead, the NB side has one milled and one unmilled lane. Grrrrr...

Yeah, I'm thinking lack of communication, because they said "repave one side at this time and repave the other at this time.

You know communications sucks now of days, you would think we would have it down by now, but it only gets worse with technologies.

Now you get dings on your car both ways with no chance of dodging the rocks.

Haven't seen a flying rock in a few days. No more dings or chips this week.

I went through yesterday just after they had finished paving a new section. Quite a few rocks were getting flung up.

Well, I guess that's possible. I only drive in the milled lane coming south (far left side of it). Fresh paved just moves to slowly...well under 65MPH.

When I went through they were just removing the barriers closing the lane and traffic in both lanes was moving about 35-40 MPH. I was in the left lane and got pelted right near where the end of their paving was.
